Davidson Fellows

The Davidson Institute for Talent Development each year offers high achieving young people under the age of 18 the opportunity to be named as Davidson Fellows. Individuals named as Davidson Fellows receive a $50,000, $25,000 or $10,000 scholarship in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the following areas:

  • Literature
  • Mathematics
  • Music
  • Philosophy
  • Science
  • Technology
  • “Outside the box”

Winners are recognized and honored for their accomplishments in Washington, D.C. in September.

Each submission must be an original piece of work recognized by experts in the field as “significant” and it must have the potential to make a positive contribution to society. The deadline to apply for a project “outside the box” is mid-January; the deadlines for all other projects are between mid-February and mid-March.
