LEAP events are fun, educational social events for Eden Prairie parents to enjoy with their children. You do not need to be a member of EPCGT to participate in LEAP events. However, when space is limited, priority will be given to EPCGT members.
Paper Marbling
Date: Friday, November 7th , 2008 (no school all grades)
Time: 9:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Fee: $10.00 per person
Ages: 1st grade and up

Back by popular demand ! Open Book at the Minneapolis Center for Book Arts (MCBA). For centuries the traditional Japanese suminagashi, spilled ink, was known by only a few. Come learn the highly guarded secret of paper marbling. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and slide into the many rich colors available for marbling paper. You will create patterns, such as swirls, dots and spirals by floating inks on water. Each piece will be unique like you.
