Minnesota Private College Week
Each year the colleges that make up the Minnesota Private College Council offer a week during the summer with free tours and general information sessions for prospective students and parents. Each college offers two sessions each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, to make it easy for students to visit two colleges per day or several during the week.
A benefit of touring the colleges of interest during this Private College Week is application fee waivers. Students can pick up a “passport” at the first college visited and get the passport stamped at each college they visit. When four or more stamps are collected, the passport may be redeemed for four application fee waivers to be used for free application to any of the participating colleges. The three colleges that are a long distance away will provide two stamps, rather than one, in the passport.
