Physics Club
Physics Club participates in a variety of science related activities. Some of these include:
- Participating in the AAPT photo contest and AAPT video contest put on by the American Association of Physics teachers for students to submit photos or videos with a physics theme. Past winners are posted at www.aapt.org.
- Researching the physics ideas about, and building, demonstration and/or lab apparatus (cool ones, of course).
- Learning how to create physics computer simulations using software and/or video.
- Participating in the physics events of the Minnesota State Science Olympiad.
- Participating in the AAPT Physics Bowl.
- Listening to speakers and maybe going on a field trip.
- Learning about astronomy topics.
2006-07 - Physics Club meets during Zero Hour and on Tuesdays after school until 4:30 or 5:00 pm in room 339.
