The Minnesota Scholars of Distinction award is given to Minnesota high school students who complete required work in Minnesota’s standards, demonstrate mastery of complex subject matter and apply their knowledge and skills on challenging projects. The Scholars of Distinction award in Applied Geography was under redevelopment in 2006-07 due to changes in the Minnesota Geography standards.
