CMS Speech Team

The CMS speech team season runs from the beginning of December until mid-February. The team allows students to perform speeches that they have written, or those that are already published. Students can compete in a wide variety of categories including humorous and serious poetry,prose, or duet acting, as well as storytelling, informative and persuasive speaking...and the list continues from there! The team travels to approximately six tournaments to compete against other schools. Practices are held either before or after school, depending on what works best for the students' schedules.
